Earlier today, on a grocery run, I thought about small talk; I used to be one of those "tell me who you areee" people, but I've come to see the value in identifying what's important to folks through the minutiae that arise from casual exchange, like stones in the furrows. Now, the Boston mazeway is circulating through me for the first time, borne on a plasma current some hundred thirty miles & change away from its boundaries in the physical world, and it is Affecting me. We have only interacted a handful of times, and yet, because of how we met, and because of your works on this twig of the internet, the things I know we have in common feel so substantial; we feel the pulse of a massive living thing together. I relish the notion that we might interact further as we seek to learn more about what sees us, and what we see :}

thank you for ‘occupation.’ i used to think about annihilation a lot too, and completely lost interest in it once i developed a chronic condition (now managed), witnessing it up close — i think — drives a wedge between imagination and reality. it is horrible. it also makes me a person, and i never want to experience it again. sorry if this is too heavy, we will make it
